Complex carbohydrate is referred to as dietry starch and are made up of sugar molecules string together like a necklace or branched like a coil. They are often rich in fiber. Complex carbohydrates are found in whole plants food and therefore are also often high in vitamins and minerals, which helps slow the release of energy in a more sustainable form. C.C are whole grains such as Brown rice oatmeal and starchy vegetables such as sweet potatoes and corn. C.C consists of 3 or more sugars and are fiber rich. Among the list mentioned quinoa, French fries, onions, Brown rice, yougurt( low fat), blueberries, raw steamed broccoli, , banana ( preferably raw) falls under complex carbohydrates.
Simple carbohydrates consists of one or two sugars and include foods such as white flour and fructose. SC such as table sugar, white bread, sugary drink are referred which means the natural mineral vitamins and fibre content is removed. This makes a simple carb a source of quick energy but less nutritious value. Bcoz of which they are referred to as empty calories. Therefore, among the list drumstick ice cream falls under simple carbohydrates ( whole boiled drumstick is a good source of complex carbohydrate)
Mango: mango have small amount of starch which is a complex type of carbohydrate but the sucrose content in the mango is very high.
Protein shake: mere a beverage rich in protein containing protein mixed with water or milk for nutrious purpose especially bodybuilding.
Cheeseburger: rich in fat , mostly made of white bread.
