Why remote patient monitoring process has not been redesigned yet? How the health IT tool currently used is actually useful and how to know the usability testing?
A remote patient monitoring process is the process of collecting data of an individual's health information in an area outside or remote area of the country and share with the help of technologies this information to the health care provider for assessment and the recommendations. It is a kind of telehealth medicine. But there is limited physiological monitoring can be done. It gives conflict to the health care provider whether the information is accurate or not. And also to the users, they have doubts about whether the assessment or recommendation will be proper or not. This gives a way to still continue traditional ways of health care. Every person feels that the traditional way of health care is much better because the real doctor will be in front of them and treat them. It gives a sense of trust which is less in remote patient monitoring. This leads to a decrease in user leads to not been redesigned yet.
The health IT tool currently used is actually very useful. The information will be collected by the tool itself and give the reading or final results. It gives the health care provider to decrease their work or reduce the overburden of work by consuming energy, time, and provide effortless work. If any complication or seriousness of the patient also can be detected by the IT tools and provide alert or alarm to the health worker. There is a present of various IT tool like CT scan machine, Ultrasound, etc. this all It tools helps to diagnose a disease condition easily in a short period of time. It can be used for treatment purposes for example radiation therapy by using radiation machines for cancer patients. This helps in the all-round development of health care.
The usability testing can be undestand by using it by the user and their feedback and aprropriateness of the results produce by them.
