Introduction for Oceanic Airlines
oceanic airlines is niether a real airline nor belong to real world avivation industry. Oceanic Airlines, is a fictional airline used in several films, television shows, and comic books. The most famous use of their logo is in the TV show Lost where Oceanic Airlines is featured with a highly stylized that portrays an Aboriginal dot paintingthat resembles a nazzar, bullseye, an island, or an "O" for Oceanic. The show's fictional storyline begins with the crash of an airline flight called Oceanic Flight 815.
Airlines with these names have also been featured in many medias starting as early as in the1960s. Before Lost, the most prominent use of the airline was in the 1996 film ExecutiveDecision. The films producers shot extensive footage of two life-sized Boeing 747 planes withthe Oceanic Airlines logo, but not the same logo used later on Lost. This stock footage has been reused in several films and television shows which spread the Oceanic Airlines logo acrossvarious, unrelated fictional universes.
