The more similar a vaccine is to the diease-causing form of the organism, the better the immune response to the vaccine. Explain this statement
Vaccine is a nothing but attenuated or heat killed or weakened form its toxins, or one of its surface proteins of disease causing organism. It is structurally similar to the original disease causing organism but vaccine does not cause disease. The weakened organisms in vaccine can raise the immune response but do not cause the disease. The immune system develops memory cells. Whenever the same microbe or protein enters into body our immune system will show vigorous response on the same foreign particle.
Better immune response to the vaccine is means that the vaccine is weakened when compare with normal flora of microbe. This original microbe can be modified to vaccine by attenuation. These inactivated microbes cannot replicate and they cannot synthesis the foreign proteins to cause disease. The original disease causing organism enters into body it can directly cause disease so that our immune system gets weakened and do not show any affect on pathogen. In the case of vaccine, the pathogen is in inactive state, so immune system develops memory cells and antibodies. Memory cells stored in the body, their action will be next time entry of pathogen.
