Amazon recognized Google as one of their biggest competitors. Amazon Web services and Google cloud are in direct a competition. However, there are also other close competitors in the general merchandise and electronics segments that Amazon deals with - Walmart, Best Buy, Family Dollar, Target are on of them.

Amazon sells almost over 10 million products and 237 million links are used to connect e-commerce products. On Amazon.com each product is featured on its own designated webpage, along with additional relevant products as recommendation. Customers can easily find any substitute or complementary product from this recommendation feature. However, talking about other e-commerce company, one can find a large no. Of substitute companies of Amazon who sell similar product as Amazon. But for complementary product(two products that are required to use together) one can use Amazon's co-purchase product network that contains complementary product, or, co-view product network that contains substitute products.
