Are the differences in housework that you read about an indicator of inequality? Why or why not? Do you expect that the time spent on housework be equal between the two partners in your current/future relationships?
The differences in housework is an indicator of inequality as women’s do the same amount of housework as in 90’s or in some cases at least double as compared to their male counterparts. In other words, Women regularly spend more time in housework as a result they have less time in employment, which off course leads to the gender inequality as less income of the women leads them to have less power in their relationships.
The time spent on housework should be equal between the two partners in current/future relationships because lower-earning (which is due to overload of housework) women are less capable to get their husbands to equally share in the domestic work, which in fact do have consequences on the healthy relationship.
