A. In this article, it is clearly explains the remarkable reason (poor health) for disparities among women over the past century. It helps the readers to find out the reason that causing such disparities and helps them to eliminate those health care disparities through a multifaceted approach. Along with this, it also provides with the information on how to transform each disparities on healthcare services to give equal treatment to all the population and also assures a competent treatment to the providers.
B. It is important to treat all the population with the same treatment methods in view to increase the trust in the medical practitioners. If the practitioners treat with racial importance, then the patient looses their hope and trust on their physician recommendations which contributes to health disparities. Moreover, the differences in care open up their way to unconscious biases and stereotyping o their physicians and on other healthcare providers.
C. It says that, the maternal mortality rate of US has declined but maternal mortality rate among African American women is four times that of Caucasian women, which compromises the biggest racial disparities in public health providers. The reason behind this hidden racial disparieties were due to lack of first trimester prenatal care. The link between prenatal check up and body weight evidents has reduced the maternal and infant mortality rate, infant injury rates and also maternal postpartum depression.
D. To improve the strategies to decrease the health disparities communities must play a pivotal role in partnership with health and other healthcare agencies. An effective treatment on communities help to reduce the complex issues in health inequities which further needs skillfull and talented professional healthcare workers to reduce the disparities.
