ERP-Enterprise resource Panning is basically the shared database that allow the differnet parts of the company o communicate with each other based o the same information.
MRP- Material requirement planning , these systems are used o plan, control and manage the inventory most commonly used for managing manufacturing unit.
CRM- customer Relationship Management is a compilation of strategies, practices and technologies used to manage the customer information and interaction data. CRM also allows to interacts with the customers to drive relationships, sales and management.
Differences:
1.MRP and ERP doesnot allow you to interact with the person outside organization such as customers as CRM allows.
2.MRP is a solo software, while ERP is integrated. Thus ERP is a broader term that of CRM and MRP.
3.CRM and MRP focus on single department while ERP is integrated sofware and thus focuses on different deaprtments.
4.CRM is only used for handling customers, MRP focuses on material requirement while ERP focuses on overall improvement of the business.
5.CRM i utilized in front office activities while MRP and ERP are utilized in back end activities.
