Major payment methods in healthcare:-

1) by cheques

2) by RTGS

3) By demand drafts(DD)

1)by cheques:- a cheque is provided to in the name of hospital or health care institution by customer or patients . Cheque should be valid i.e. it should refer to the correct account holder and it must not bounce i.e. account must have the amount equal to the that has to be paid.

2) By RTGS/NEFT :- One can pay to health care institution directly by this procedure. Customer/patient can go to bank in which he/she has an activated account and by the use of account number and ifsc code related to health care institution bank account. Payment is done within 7 days .

3) By Demand Draft:- this procedure also needs the customer to use his/her account holding banking branch. Procedures for these payment methods can easily be explained by banks.

All these payment methods have different service charges. These depend upon banks and different payment methods.
