Secondhand smoke is smoke from burning tobacco products, such as
cigarettes, cigars, or pipes.Secondhand smoke also is smoke that
has been exhaled, or breathed out, by the person smoking.Secondhand
smoke is known to cause cancer. It has more than 7,000 chemicals,
including at least 70 that can cause cancer.
1) Govt. should total ban on smoking in public places, including all indoor workplaces, protects people from the harms of second-hand smoke . It will helps smokers quit and reduces youth smoking.
2) Govt . should not allowing anyone to smoke anywhere in or near your home.
3) Govt should allowing anyone to smoke car, even with the windows down .
4) Govt should making children’s day care center and schools are
tobacco-free
5) Govt. should charge penalty in such restaurants and other places
that allow smoking .
6)Govt. should start some programmes or advertisment for encourage
not smoking or using any other type of tobacco.
7) Govt. should ban such public transport in which passenger
must smoke while traveling, not only govt. this is the duty of
public also to stop for smoke whilr travelling .
8) We should choose smoke-free care facilities. This applies to
child care facilities as well as facilities for older adults.Choose
smoke-free restaurants. When we travel, request nonsmoking hotel
rooms and rental cars .
