#1. Muscle aches and pain are the first symptoms to appear after an accident. The pain can start immediately after an accident or even occur a few days later. Pain management physicians can offer non-surgical solutions for many accidents. Every injury reqiures a specialized treatment according to the severity and type of injury. When accidents happen, injuries to soft tissue, bones and the head can cause chronic pain and is an important aspect of recovery process.
HOW WOULD YOU SUPPORT AND DO TO EASE THE PAIN? There are any ways to overcome these chronic pain which includes 1. application of ice pack on the affected area which helps to reduce the swelling and pain of a muscle, ligament or tendon injury. 2. wearing a neck or back brace is necessary to support and to maintain the regular movement 3. medication is the another source of treatment to reduce pain. Physiotherapy can be suggested for this patient inorder to reduce muscle spasm, pain and to improve blood circulation.
WHY DO YOU THINK IT WOULD WORK? I believe in seeking right treatment at the right time which improves the health of a person after an accident or injury. Emergency care and other related treatment plays an important role in caring for the patient acutely ill and injured patients. Giving effective and quality treatment will safeguard the patient from further complications. So to me, the above mentioned supportive measures would benefit the patient to restore normal appearence.
#2. The vestibular system includes the parts of the inner ear and brain which helps to control balance and eye movements. If this system is damaged due to injury or an accident are often associated with symptoms such as a) vertigo b) dizziness c) loss of balance d) nausea e) sweating and f) vomiting. When there is an injury to the vestibular receptors, the body can recover from vestibular injury by having the part of the brain that helps to control balance to compensate. On the other hand, symptoms like vertigo may present or fully recovered according to the depth or damage of the injury. But in most of the cases, these symptoms were not considered as a permanent issue.
