AGREE/ DISAGREE: Ofcourse yes, from the points discussed below, I agree with the argument that audit trail is one of the best security measures available to notify an abnormal change or any negative influences and know how to manage audit trial data. Moreover, IT professionals use audit trials at their peak level in view to assess numerous and varied activities of users, systems and applications to prevent a) misuse b) hacking and c) corruption of information. A company can also benefit from audit trial. It may use the same for a) reconciliation b) future budget planning c) tax payments or any audit related compliance and for d) crime investigations. Apart from these, it also has the ability to store data to their origin form, provides record integrity and accuracy, protects from harm or misuse and provides vital information securities through a) accountability by preventing the attack of viruses and through improper use of unauthorized information and moifications b) helps in problem detection and prevent from future occurence of outagious activities and c) helps to identify the implementation issues, suspicious activities and operational errors.
