One of the experiences I shall mention is regarding a restaurant etiquette which was followed in a very bizzard manner by one of my colleague. It so happened that our company had planned a team dineout. The purpose of dineout was 2 , the first one was a team relaxation strategy and second one was a chance with meeting up potential clients from different fields who were enjoying our services. One of my colleagues is a jovial and fun loving guy. He is a very good hearted and hardworking person. During the dineout, it was noticed my colleague by the name John started to pick up food from plates of those he knew around him. This was a behaviour which he would exhibit when having our lunch at our office and none of us had any objection on it. However, the same is anot a restaurant etiquette to be followed and all clients who joined our dineout did notice him. Although they did not mention anything abiut it, their body language showed low respect for him then onwards. Myself being one of his close friends, immediately told him to stop doing the same and explained him about various forms of restaurant etiquettes and one everyone expects him to follow. Although he was a little broken down, he ensured the same is not repeated and continued to behave like a gentleman. His immediate change was also observed by everyone and highly appreciated later. We might not be aware of many social norms, but it is our ability to adapt to cicrcumstances which makes us unique and successful.
