The HONEYCRISP APPLE as tells by its name is very refreshing fruit and has a vast market.

MARKET PHENOMENON

Now the market of this apple works on the simple phenomenon of demand and supply. Because of such a good and juice flavour in it the demand for the apple is very high and this high demand is a factor for its high prices. People are even ready to pay the thrice than the original amount. The supply is comparatively less than the demand for these apples so people are ready to buy these apples even at higher prices which makes these apple very expensive fruit to buy.

It almost took 30 years of research to develop such a good breed of apple . The company producing it has got its patent done.

The production of this fruit needs very good quality of soil, climate, the trees are very expensive and the maintainence cost of the fruit and the trees is very high . Due to such high maintainence costs and the high demands push up the prices of these apples to a very high extent.

It almost takes 5 to 6 years time for this apple tree to give the fruits for the commercial purposes. The demand for the fruit is very high and the growing time is also very much. Hence the farmers expect the apples to last for very short period of time because of the very limited amount of production and the very high demand which result in the very quick sale of the fruits.
