Reasons of PepsiCo expansion in International market :
1.lt has strategic plan to expand Pepsi business worldwide with its
wide product lines particularly macro snacks with beverages in the
beginning.
2.The purpose of the company is to develop strong logistics in order to reach its global consumers and make its all brands available.
3.The Top marketers of Pepsi company researched on the global market position to identify the perception of the consumers to meet the present and future demand of the local consumers.
4.One of the main objective of Pepsi brand is to offer the best quality products at the lowest possible market price to increase sales volume along with market share
Thats why it uses mostly inexpensive and recyclable plastic bottles in production & manufacturing as the purchasing power of the customers in the Middle East and other Asian countries are not very much high.
5.Heavy investment in Marketing of Product with celebrities' of
different countries as well as Hollywood & Bollywood promotion
created company's brand value in international market
2. Yes Expansion stragety was successful
The company's global marketing and ad expenses shot up 11% in
the first quarter, compared with the first quartcn. of 2012.
Over the course of a century Pepsi has grown to be an amazing brand
both in advertisement and style campaigns, providing top notch
strategy plans to kicked out other competitors, which not only
includes Billboards, Banners & stickers on Busses & trucks,
but also with world class Celebrities.
PepsiCo looks for properties that take a vested interest in a
partnership's success by keeping the company up to speed on new
marketing initiatives and other programs where there may be a brand
fit.
3.Advice to PepsiCo company to do differently next time.
1. PepsiCo always need to look into the future, trying to make the company most profitable and suiting to its customer needs.
2. PepsiCo's policies should be focused on customer centric. i.e. Cusomer satisfaction is not enough customer delighlation is must !!
3. New policy of the company should be shareholders. introduced before the competitors launch
4. A healthy relationship should be sweetener blend that has fewer developed by the company's executives calories. with the dealers.
