Rwanda is a landlocked country with high population density. It is an agrarian economy.
Economic growth.
The country aims to be a middle income and a high income country eventually, as of now the GDP of the economy is hovering around 5%.
The main cause of increasing economic growth can be attributed to public investment. Government spending is visible in almost every sectors of the economy.
The country also receives financial support from various financial institutions.
Poverty rate.
The poverty rate of Rwanda has been decreasing over the years but still a majority of the population is still under extreme poverty.
Causes of poverty
As a result the standard of living of the people has increased.
The country can further attain progress when it can induce more savings in the economy. Along with it there should be proper vocational training given to the people.
