Compare the benefits versus the risks of dietary supplementation. Include at least 3 compelling readons gor each side of the arguement along with an example, if necessary. Also include what are your personal thoughts are on dietary supplements.

Dietary supplements- These are pills, tablet or liquid that are used to add nutrient in diet and lower the risk of health problems.

Benefits

1. Fill in nutrition gap- it provides nutrient that might be missing from daily diet like vitamins supplements helps elder people to keep their blood cells and nerves healthy.

2. Improves health- it helps in.managing health problems and Improve physical performance like vitamin D and calcium tablets help to keep bones strong and reduce bone loss.

3. Helps in reducing risk of infection- it helps inimproving immune function, preventing chronic disease like vitamin E supplements help in reducing respiratory infections.

Risks

Along with the above benefits the dietary supplements also includes some risks which may cause health problems.

1. SIDE EFFECTS - If supplements are taken in high doses or if different supplements are taken together like increase the risk of bleeding.or too much intake of vitamin A may cause Headache , liver damage.

2. PROBLEMS IN TREATMENT - Dietary supplements may involve risk in treatment of some disease like cancer chemotherapy or radiation treatment may be difficult due to intake of these supplements.

3. Some supplements may interact with receptors in body and cause psychological changes like stress and  disorders , as they contain active ingredient they can cause blood pressure , irregular heartbeat , dizziness , digestive symptoms.

RECOMMENDATION -. Although dietary supplements have many benefits but due to risk involved , my personal recommendation to avoid risk are

a. Before taking supplements it should be known the quantity to be taken .don't take overdose.

b. Talk or consult the doctor before taking it.

c. Choose brands or products only recommended by doctor
