Primary prevention:
To prevent disease from occuring.Example: Healthy life style like
exercise,Avoid alcohol and smoking,and drug abuse. to maintain
weight and diet. Primary barriers to preventive service uses
included ability to pay,perception of need, service availability,
accessibility services and research recommentations.
Secondary prevention:
It includes prevention consists of 'early diagnosis and proper
treatment"
Tertiary prevention:
This aims to maximize the remaining capabilities and functions of
an already disabled patient. Prevention of complication from
disease and reducing their pain and damage.
Measures:
-- Help prevent chronic diseases like heart diseases and
cancer.
--Eating a good variety of nutritious foods helps them to prevent
such condition like diabetes.
--Stress management helps them from
getting ulcers and heart diseases.
--Avoiding tobacco,smoking to prevent lung and oral
