Some of the factors that causes harm are such as pesticides, lead paint, mercury in foods etc. This causes various illness in children such as respiratory health issues, hormonal changes, thinking ability etc. The mercury in foods increases the risk in the poor brain development and accumulation may lead to severe brain diseases. The chemicals lead to increases in the development of chronic diseases which directly affect the child's development. The harm caused by these toxic substances can be prevented through various methods. :
