Answer:

1- which do you believe is the best approach between classical, empirical, and subjective?

the probability is the possiblity of the happening or ouccuring of an event.in probability research three types of probability methods can be used-

a-  classical method- in this methods you can find the probability by just applying the formulae of probability to get the happeining of the event.

the probability of getting a head in a single toss of a coin is 1/2. This is Classical Probability.

b- empirical method- this method is experimental approach.in this method researcher conducts the experiment to know the probablity of the outcomes of the event.

for example- a person would want to see the probability of getting tails in the toss of a coin for 100 times. then instead of applying formulae, person would experiment by tossing the coin for 100 times & observe the outcomes.

c-  subjective method- this method is based on the intution or guessing of the person. this method gives the vauge outcomes of the events.

for example- chances of rain are guessed around 70%. which is subjective & vague as there is no formulae or experiment for this probability research.

the best apprach would be classical approach as it has some predefined formuale also it is cost effective & less time consuming. empirical would require more money & time to do the research & subjective gives the vauge & error in answers.

2- When working with research, would you rather use conditional or joint probability?

Conditional Probability - Conditional Probability is used to measure the probability of the event that is happening or outcome occurred on the basis of previous event or the outcomes.

For example - In the previous day, there is raining. So, there is 30% chance there is also rain today. So, the Conditional Probability is occurring with some relationship with one or more than one event.

Joint probability -  Joint probability is used to measure the two or more than two events that is occurring at the same time. It calculates the two events occurring together at the same time.

For example - There is a probability of occurring event X at the same time of occurring of event Y.

In the research, Conditional Probability is mostly used. because in research generally, no event is occurring together. Our next step is always depends on the previous step. So, we can use the Conditional Probability to get a better result.
