Explain why a comprehensive analysis of a health intervention must include a discussion of administrative, political, and economic feasibility.
Comprehensive analysis of a health intervention must include multiple components like administrative, political, and economic feasibility.
Administrative feasibility
Whenever a health intervention is analysed, makesure that the intervention stategies within the administrative capability of the department or the agency involved and it is important for policy analysis and decision making. It estimates the available resources and agency behaviour that may lead to the successful implementation of the intervention. All interventions should be done in accordance with agency policies.
Political feasibility
Political feasibility refers to the likelyhood that an intervention would be adopted.Ensure the proper support from the decision/policy makers.Efficiency and effectiveness of an intervention clearly explains through comprehensive analysis.political feasibility analysis would be welcomed by policy makers ,because the less controversial and less visible a decision is,the less likely a policy maker is to asses accuurately the political accessibility of specific proposals.it is useful in designing credible policy alternatives and in anticipating policy maker's response to intervention proposals.political feasibility depends on the actions and interactions of the administrative hierarchy which involves their capacity to design strategies for the intervention.
Economic feasibility
Analysing the economic faesibility provides the information to the policy maker in health care for efficient use of available resources for maximising health benefits and helps in comparing cost and consequences of different interventions. It is important in understanding economic aspects of health ana disease and limitations to the procurement of adequate health interventions. It helps in evaluating issues related to efficiency, effectiveness and value of resouces in healthcare interventions.
