One of the most important factors about Noam Chomsky’s language development theory is that all the children who are born in the world comes with the basic ability to learn any language they are exposed in the environment. He terms this phenomenon as Universal Grammar which is wired in all the human beings. He in his government binding theory suggests that language development is equal to the development of other organs in a child and it’s a separate entity which is born with the ability to adopt any language to which the child would be exposed to later. Chomsky also came up with the creative notion of the language that enables children make their own sentences which they had never heard before. It’s this creativity part of the language development that spearheads and speed-up the language development of the child. Noam Chomsky, thus remains one of the most influential person in the linguistic world.
