2. WHERE DOES TRUTH LIE? IS IN IN THE OBJECT (on the things known) ITSELF? OR IN THE SUBJECT (on the person saying it) CLAIMING IT TO BE?
A paragraph long answer please
Just like beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, truth lies in the eyes of the beholder. It all starts with the person telling it, moves on to the evidences the person shows to support the claim and finally, it depends on the one who receives it. The person can twist the truth add lies to make the receiver believe that what he says or shows is true but in reality it may not. So the one who receives the message or the thing would experience from their angle whether the things shown or message shared has any credibility to believe it as truth. Most of the advertisements tell us plenty of things and they claim it as true but in reality when we test them, they are not. Books, especially history books are written from the winner’s perspective but the truth from the loser’s eyes would be entirely different. Truth may lie with the person telling it if it is really true, it may be proved with few evidences of things and messages and finally the one who receives it may decide whether to believe or not thus making it a lie or truth.
