From year 2015 to 2017 the sales has grown by 66% (approximately) .  

The supermarkets expanding their assortments towards non food items because of the changing market scenario. They are earning more from nonfood items as compared to the food items. The risk of perishing of food items and such another risks associated with the food items are not in case of non food items.  

The convenience stores trend in the market have changed over the years from 7-11. The US convenience stores has been increased by 55% from last three decades . At the year end 2007 the US conveniecon stores counts to 146,294 and in 2017 it counts to 154,958 ( an increase of 423 stores from year 2016 i.e., 0.3%increase). This trend can be seen that only a 0.3% has been increased in US in 2017 from year 2016. This shows that the convenience stores have changed over years from 7-11 to KUM and Go situations at present.
