Overall oral contraceptives are safe for most woman,but not for
everyone..This packages will have the contraindication
list..but,world health organization additionally gave the
guidelines to use this pills..
?Absolute contraindications are:
? - Woman who is having a history of some medical condition like
blood clot,cardiovascular disease..
? - current history of ischemic heart disease
? - tumor in the liver
? - Estrogen dependent cancer like cancer breast and uterus.
? - SLE-positive antiphospholipid antibodies
? - Past and present evidence of VTE2,4-deep vein
thrombosis,pulmonary embolism,or known thrombogenic mutation
-Woman who is pregnant and had jaundice during pregnancy.
? -Woman has any genital bleeding..
- History of allergic reaction
- Migraine with an aura at any age..
Additional contraindications:
? -woman with valvular heart disease,hypertension and vascular
diseases
? - Severe cirrhosis of liver,angina,diabetes,
? -Lactating mother for first six weeks should not take this
pills.
- Woman require surgery that will involve long periods of bed
rest..it may increase risk of blood clot..
-woman who smoke and age over 35years should not take this
pills..
