Which kind of transducers are used to produce electric signal by mechanical force explain in detail (plz full explanation)
The transducers that convert mechanical force into electrical output are called "Electrical Transducers".
The advantages of using an electrical transducers are
Electrical transducers can
be further classified as Active and Passive
transducers.
Passive electrical
tranducers consists of Resistive
Transducers,Capacitive transducers and Inductive transducers.
A well known example of resistive transducers are Resistive
Thermometers. It has various advantages like accurate
measurements, wide working range without loss of accuracy etc.
Capacitive transducers includes the Capacitive moisture
transducers,Capacitive displacement transducers and Capacitive
thickness transducers.
Inductive transducers convert Physical motion(Mechanical force)
into inductance. The examples of this includes Inductive
Displacement transducers Inductive thickness transducers
etc.
Active Electrical
Transducers include the Photoelectric Transducers
which includes Photoconductive Transducers,Photoemissive Transducers
,Photovoltaic Force Transducers etc. Other examples of the Active
electric transducers include ,Magnetostrictive Transducers ,
Hall-Effect Transducers ,Piezoelectric Transducers which includes
Piezoelectric force transducers.
When the piezoelectric transducers experience mechanical stress or forces they produce electric voltage. This is possible by making use of peizoelectic material. The electrical voltage that is produced is found to be directly proportional to the applied mechanical force.
