Equity capital will be representing the ownership of equity in the company and equity capital will be representing the part of controlling stake in the overall organisation and it will reflect the owners of the company which are eligible for the voting rights of the company and they are eligible for the decision making of the company as well.

When we are comparing the equity capital of the suncorp bank Australia , the overall number of equity share is around 83 millions, and when we are looking at the market price of the company ,it is around $25 and the overall market capitalisation of the company is $2.5 billions.

when we are comparing the equity capitalisation of this company with other Companies, then it is the fifth largest company of Australia.
