Research the internet to determine the pros and cons of kidney dialysis and kidney transplantation. Remember to review not only the cost of these procedures, typical insurance coverages, and both long and short term effects of both options. Determine the difficulties if the kidney donor is a live donor versus a kidney from someone who has passed and they had previously decided to or their family has decided to provide their organs for donation.
Is there a benefit to doing dialysis versus a kidney transplant?
What differences between live and dead donors did you find?
What are the lasting effects of both types of treatments?
What types of diseases or disorders require these two treatments?

Living donors:
The body can function absolutely well with just one healthy kidney; a family member with two healthy kidneys may choose to donate one of them to you. If the family member’s blood & tissues matches then we can go for a scheduled donation.
Receiving a kidney from a family member is a good option because it reduces the risk..
Deceased Donors:
Deceased donors are also known as cadaver donors. These are people who have died, due to an accident rather than a disease. Hence either the donor or his family has chosen to donate their organs and tissues.
Kidneys from an unrelated donor are more likely to be rejected by the body.
That’s why there is need of immune-suppressants.
