If you sue for $200.00 in the Civil Court, Small Claims Part, tell me what choices you would make and the benefits or detriments(harm) that would result and why?
-------------There isn't a specific subject for this question--------It's for business Law
In this case the choices I will make is to try and resolve my dispute in The Small Claims Court and for this I will appear before a judge of the district or municipal court, presents my claim, and explain why another person or business owes the amount of $200 to me.
The benefits of this choice will be that my legal dispute will be resolved with relatively little time and relatively little expenses. I will not have to incur the high costs of a lawyer and hence this will make my lawsuit quite reasonable from a monetary standpoint. Legal decision will be made quickly and this will be the main benefit.
In terms of harm that may result in case of The Small Claims Court winning the case does not always guarantee payment. In case where the defendant does not pay on an immediate basis or on the basis as ordered by the court then the court will have to issue an order which is known as ‘execution of judgement’. This will then allow the local sheriff to try and the collect the amount for you. This will entail a small fee as well.
