Read the following quote attributed to Sun Tzu:
“When the enemy is relaxed, make them toil. When full, starve them. When settled, make them move.”
In approximately 500 words, explain the meaning of these three sentences in terms of change and strategy.
When the given sentence is applied to change and strategy :
When an enemy is relaxed, make them toil means when the market conditions are stable and did not have much changes in them , we need to come up with changes and strategies to our products which make the competitors alerts and struggle to face the competition which would make the market toil. It means we must act when the market is stable and ready to accpet changes.
When full, starve them means when the market is full of competitors and there is nothing new for us to come up with , we need to stay calm and let the conditions calm down . The situation must come to normal and the market must be demanding for something new from us and then is the time for us to make strategies and initiate changes.
When settled , make them move means when the market calms down and is being int he same form for many days , it would be the best time for us to come up with changes and strategies to make it move again and to restart competition .
