discuss maxwell eqoations
The four maxwell's equation are:
where, E is the electric field
H is the magnetic field strength
D is the electric displacement field
rho is the electric charge density
J is the current density
B is the magnetic flux density
a) The first equation is the Gauss Law, which states the relationship between charge density and electric field.
b) The second equation is the Gauss law for magnetism. This equation states that in every volume the sum of the magnetic field lines that go in equals the sum of the magnetical field lines that go out. This means that the magnetic field lines must be closed loops. Thus proving that magnetic monopoles cannot exist.
c) The third equation is Faraday's law of induction, which states the relationship between an electric field generated due to the varying magnetic field. This equation explains the working of electric motors and generators.
d) The fourth equation is Ampere's law, which states the relationship between the generation of the magnetic field due to the varying electric field.
