1.What is an example of “flourishing under fire “ and resilience from you own experience? (Can be yourself or someone you know.) Describe in some detail.
2. What might explain (internal or external causes) the basis of this resilience? What helped you or the person you describe make it through the experience and what did you learn from this experience?
"Flourishing under fire" refers to the prototype of resilience, whereby the person is resilient even in the toughest of situations. An example could be found in lives of many poeple, people who undergo the roughest of circumstances and still go on. Example of Malala Yousuf Zai to me seems to be an appropriate one. She is a prototype of resilience. Before people knew her name, she was a very common person who was striving for getting an education and wanting other girls to be allowed to get education, which she believed is a basic human right that was denied to the women in her society. So much so that a murder attempt was made on her by a group who was against her pursuit. She was shot in the head, but fortunately, the bullet passed throuh her face. None of us would ever imagine that happening to us, but she not only survived the attack, but she got back and now ehr voice was even stronger, and echoed far beyond than ever. She runs the caimpaign for education for all humans today. She has been through a lot but she stayed resilient and look at her now. She had stayed resilient and has flourished through her circumstances.
