Nishime categorizes cyborgs into three types: good, bad, and mulatto. Describe the types and discuss your opinion of this categorization system. Do you think it's a good way to think about cyborgs? How so? Why or why not?
Cyborg is considered as a fictional robotic figure , regardless of having any kind of emotions . Eg: Android.
Good Cyborgs : It resides in a disorganised way , between artificial and organic . They tend to have a stronger side of humans and likely wants to become a human being.
Mulatto Cyborgs : It clearly states of romanticism and nostalgia.
Bad Cyborgs : They are robots in nature. Bad Cyborgs tend to harm/destroy humans . Eg : Terminator .
Speaking about the good side of Cyborgs , is helpful. It reduces many work load of humans . As it is not possible for human beings to do so many works one at a time . But , Good cyborgs helps in completing the work in a specific time .
Mulatto Cyborg helps to recognise which one is good and bad cyborg. It charactersises of hybridity .
It's a mixed feeling thinking about cyborgs.
But damaging lives of people is something which haunts me. Talking about the character of terminator , is something I really fear upon . It kills people , irrespective of the cause . But seeing the good side is really benefial to the people.
