Covid 19 or which is also called as coronavirus, has affected all the businesses all worldwide. This padamic has brought all the businesses down. Most of the businesses and shut down due to this crises which has affected the economy of the country in a huge way.

UBER BUSINESS DURING CORONAVIRUS

Uber or ola is engaged with driving various customers/passengers from different places and the clients or customers are attended directly in their homes which has a great danger of the spread of covid 19.

1) Social distancing - due to this padamic, every individual is making sure that they maintain social distance. This has stopped the customers to take services from Uber. This is not good for the Uber business and for the workers working in Uber in terms of business.

2) Health care - Uber company has made compulsory/ mandatory to all its employees to wash their hands multiple times and to use masks and sanitizers while attending the customers.

3) Financial assistance to employees - employees who are suspected or confirmed with covid 19 are isolated and their accounts are temporarily suspended. But they will be provided with financial assistance.

4) Loss - the outbreak of coronavirus has hit the company in a huge way. It has affected the drivers or the employees. Their earnings have become 0 (zero) because of this padamic.

5) Cancellation of uber pool - because of maintaining social distance, uber pool has been cancelled or suspended for time being, i.e temporarily, all over the world. This is done to prevent from the spread of coronavirus.

6) No contact - the employees are told not to have contact with the customers while providing home delivery service. They are supposed to leave the delivery at the door.

7) Charity - Uber eats is providing free meals to the health care workers in US, Canada and other countries.

8) Opportunities to employees - Uber drivers income has gone down as there are no customers traveling because of the lockdown and social distancing. So they are given opportunities to have additional source of income by working in Uber eats delivery.

Thus Uber is trying its level best to survive and at the same time to contribute (charity) during this crises.
