At what stage in the budgeting process is the Budgeted Balance Sheet prepared? Why is this the case and why is this sequence important?
Budgeted Balance Sheet is a projected balance sheet prepared by management to ascertain it’s level of assets and liabilities at the end of relevant budget period.
Preparation of budgeted balance sheet is done at the Final stage of budgeting process.
This is so because the management firstly decides the various investment plans and financial sources and determine the costs associated with it. So the sequence should be followed lacking which might not serve the purpose of budget.
