Identify and give an illustration of one type of implied warranty.
There are two main types of warranties. The first one is express warranty and is the most general one. It is an agreement between seller and buyer that covers manufacturing defects, repair and replacement of parts or sometimes product itself for a specific time period provided the damage is not intentional.
An implied warranty is another agreement which assures the merchantanbility of the product i.e. the purpose for which it is intended for. This warranty is in addition to express warranty. It assures the quality of the inbuilt specifications. Hence it is default in nature.
An example of implied warranty could be in all the general things we purchase. Like when you buy fruits and vegetables in a supermarket, the implied warranty is that they are fresh in nature. When you purchase a car from a dealer, the implied warranty is that the car is in working condition. When you order food in a restaurant, the implied warranty is that the food is edible. Infringement of such warranty guarantees a cashback.
