The job responsibility of the occupational health and safety officer is the maintain the regulation and security regarding nobody gets hurt or injured in any sort of physical way while performing the duties of the job. There are many factors which could result in unsafe environment of the organsiations which are:

1. Using hazardous products like chemicals: One of the key factors in the manufacturing industry which has caused a lot of problems related to the unsafe activities are by using the hazardous products like chemicals, electricity etc while producing the product. One can damage its body very badly because of such products. A proper notice and warning should be given regarding the hazardous products by the officer and helmets, gloves and all protective equipments should be provided anyhow to make safety for the employees.

2. Working without protective gear and kit: Another factor is when the protective gear and the kit is not provided to the employees working on site areas such as construction or mining. This factor could also result in damaging of the body. The officer should take care of all the protected materials and equipments required by the employees. The same fund in the budget should be made regarding the purchase of such materials to provide safety to the employees.

3. Providing no essential guideline about work: At last, in many organisations no training, guideline or rules or regulatations are provided in any explicit form telling about the fact that this thing could be dangerous and can cause damage. Many accidents have occured because of this mistake only. The officer should correctly label all the things that could cause the damange by the name danger or anything explicit. Rules and regulations should be effectively provided within the working area about how to use the products, training and guideline should be given to make the employees learn how to not commit mistakes or generate waste.
