QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH
It is the process of collecting and analysing numerical data, widely used in natural and social sciences

QUALITATIVE RESEARCH
It is process of collecting and analysing non numerical data ( text, video, audio ), commonly used in humanities.
Eg. 1. Grounded theory
2. Ethnography
3. Action research
4. Narrative research
2. PARAMETRIC STATISTICS
They are based on assumption about the distribution of Population from which sample are taken
Eg. Students T test, ANOVA test
NON PARAMETRIC STATISTICS
It is based on data collected from sample that does not follow specific distribution
Eg. Chi- square, Fishers exact test, Mann Whitney test, Kruskal Willis test.
