What is the difference between arguments and persuasive rhetoric?
Differences between arguments and Persuasive rhetoric are as follows-
1. An argument explains what someone believes while persuasive rhetoric attempts to change someone else’s point of view or opinion.
2. Arguments use factual evidences to make claims while persuasive rhetoric base claims on personal opinions.
3. Arguments attempts to change other’s opinion using logics while persuasive rhetoric also attempts to change other’s opinion using emotion and feelings.
4. Magazines and Journals are the example of arguments while debate and advertising are the examples of persuasive rhetoric.
5. In arguments focus on critical thinking while in persuasive rhetoric focuses on convincing other.
6. Argument’s main aim is to reach at a conclusion what is right and what is wrong while the persuasive rhetoric’s main aim is to change people’s mind.
