Describe briefly system,control system and signal, with some examples.
System: system is a means of transforming a signal.An entity which converts input to output is system.Eg. lighting system in a class room.
Control system: control system is that means by which any quantity of interest is maintained or altered according to a desired manner (user desired).
In other words control system is a system which provides desired response by controlling the output. (i.e Input into desired output is control system) Eg. in day to day life we use refrigerator,an air conditioner,an automatic iron etc.
Every system is not a control system,but every system is a control system.
Signal: The physical definition of signal is, signal is a form of energy which contains information of some activity.
The mathematical definition of signal is, signal is a function of one or more independent no. Of variable.Eg speech signal one variable signal is a function of time.Most happening independent variable is time.
