Electronic communication is fast, cost-effective, and convenient. We are able to be connected with others at all times but at what personal cost, What are the disadvantages? What can be done to capitalize on the advantages while addressing the inherent disadvantages of being connected 24/7?
Electronic communication is the fastest mode of communication which is not limited by any boundry. It is seamless and it connects everyone around the world at one go. But, there still exists some of the disadvantages for this type of communication which are:
1. Cost: The cost for providing such high quality of comunication networks like social media applications, technology used and other services is extremely high. The cost every manufacture goes through to make you enable the communication is so high and requires so much work because of which the IT industry is the fastest growing industry ever recorded.
2. Amount of Data: The data that is being flowing in the universe all around is infinite. Every organisation requires a lot of manpower and skills and huge operational efficiencies anyhow to meet that amount of data to be converted and provided.
3. Dependency: This effective communication techniques depends solely upon the technology being used. Technology driven countries who are developed can use this communication but what about the poor countries where technology is not available and thus data can't flow.
The things that could be done to capitalise the advantages is more awareness about how important the IT sector is in the world economy. If the integration of all the economies could take place effectively and efficiently, the technology sharing and data sharing could be converted into minimal cost and thus would be easily transferred and freely flow and can make the world unite as one.
