Answer : Basically the excel is used to organised the data into a cellular form. It is largely used in data analysis.
There are some features which has been provided in Excel -
1) Sort - You can sort your data i ascending or descending order on one column or multiple column.
2) Filter - You can filter you data in excel as per your criteria.
3) Charts - A simple excel chart can say more than a sheet full of numbers. Creating chart is very easy.
4) Tables - It allow you to analyze your data in excel quickly and easily.
5) Conditional Formatting - It enables you to highlight cells with a certain colors.
Lets take an example : Suppose we need to organised a student details in excel then we use some of the column as shown in image and colored their as per their importance.
Here i highlighted the column name by the color because they are the titles. By using this excel , we can analyse or organised the data of student.
