Use a diagram to describe a home network, including all
connections and nodes, all wired and wireless connected
devices.

HOME NETWORK:-
- home network is a two or more computer are internally connected
with each other from a local area network for an exchanging of
information, knowledge, and data.
- For example, if you have an old computer without a Pendrive
slot, you can access your newer computer's Pendrive slot instead of
purchasing one for your older computer.
- Sharing data and file throwe a home network is also easier than
copying a file to a floppy or hard disk and running to the other
computer to use the file.
- There is a total of five types of different home networks, two
that use wire connections and three that use wireless connections:
-
1. Cable connection: -
- this type of connection allows connecting computers via plug
throw connecting devices.
- it uses a serial, parallel, or Universal Serial Bus port for
connecting devices.
- This is possible when two devices are in the nearest distance
it is not used for long-distance.
- speed of data transformation is high compare to a wireless
connection.
- example:- LAN cable
2. Ethernet connection:-
- This type of connection allows connecting computers via
peer-to-peer Ethernet network requires inside each computer and
interconnecting them with a coaxial cable or a twisted pair
cable.
- You need to install a driver or software of the connection
configuration.
- The main drawback of this is to difficulty in hardware
installation time.
- it is has a high cost compare to a simple cable
connection.
- example:- coaxial cable and twisted pair cable.
3. AC (Alternating current )
network:-
- An AC (alternating current) network may be a chance once a
computer area unit in many locations in your house.
- you do not drill any holes or wire any rooms. you just plug one
finish of associate adapter into the parallel interface of your
laptop associated plug the opposite finish into an outlet. you are
doing identical for every device.
- Your information is transmitted through the facility
lines.
- you'll be able to have a ready-made network anyplace within the
house at any time.
- once getting the instrumentation and package for your AC
network, check that it includes additional outlet strips associated
with an adapter for your printer.
- example:- power lines
4. Tele-Phone network:-
- This type of wireless network was developed by the Home
Phoneline Networking Alliance (HomePNA) it offers us an easy and
inexpensive wireless connection solution that uses existing phone
lines.
- The HomePNA technology is not able to connect with your voice
and data transmission.
- it means that with the same time you can use your phone and use
an internet connection too.
- for this type of network is require an install PCI card and
software drivers.
- the transformation of data is nearest to 10 Mbps.
- Example:- modem and telephone line
5. Radio Free (RF) network:-
- This type of wireless network uses radio frequency (RF) waves
to transmit data through radio waves and it is capable of transmit
throwe walls and floors up to 800 feet.
- In this type of network has only hardware is a special card
inserted into each devices or a transceiver plugged into each
device in parallel port.
- The main problem with radio free networks is it is interference
from other wireless communication devices which may affect packet
loss or communication break between two devices.
- Example:- mobile communication, Gps, Wifi, Router.
