Answer:

Question 1: As of 2019 where are Bethany McLean, Cliff Baxter, Andrew Fastow, Jeff Skilling, Sherron Watkins, Lou Pai and Kenneth Lay now?

Answer:  Bethany McLean is the contributing editor of Vanity Fair and a columnist of Thomson Reuters. Cliff Baxter was a former executive and died on January of 2002. Andrew Fastow is giving speeches at different universities. Former Enron CEO Jeff Skilling released from prison and sent to a halfway. He was sentenced to 24 years in prison and fined $45 million. Sherron Watkins is now speaking about ethics and leadership around the globe, teaching others how to prevent or how to spot the next ‘Enron’. Lou Pai is an employer at Midstream Capital. Kenneth Lay died on July in 2006.

Question 2: In your opinion what was the one most outrageous thing that Enron did?

Answer: I believe that the one most outrageous thing that Enron did was freeze their employees’ accounts and making them unable to sell their stocks so they can retire with money after working for Enron. The employees’ basically ‘placed all their eggs in one basket’ believing Enron would not fail, but they were betrayed by their employer and were left with nothing in their accounts and now they still have to work when they should have a decent amount of money in their accounts for retirement.
