PR firms are hired to do such things that it helps the company, product of the company and celebrities to be in news and if anything goes wrong, PR firms can take over the damage control. For example, if there is a new product going to be launched by an Apple for an example new iPhone, the PR will make sure that the product gets the best coverage in media, and people are aware that the product is going to be launched. Only the best feature will be highlighted and it will be presented in a such away that it is the best phone on the planet. The main role of PR is to promote and take over the damage control. Damage control example could be if any celebrity gets arrested, then PR firm will try to clean his image in the public.

And if we talk about innovation in the PR than the changes has been taken as our technology has developed. For example, earlier PR used to call on a landline or fax us the content they wanted to get published in the newspaper, or they used to come press office. And now they call us on mobile or email the content and more to that Whats-App us if any thing is important. Now PR promotions take place on social media, they tie up with social media influencer if their company is launching any product, so the influencer can promote the product on his social media page. This is the latest trend in the PR industry. Many changes have been taken and it all because technology has developed.

If we compare the past PR and today’s PR than the style of promotion has changed. And young and dynamic personalities are hired to play an important and key role in the industry. Who are technology freaks. And more to that polls are run on social media, campaigns are deigned before any product launch. So they can see what is the latest trend going on.

Big brands like Pepsi, Coca Cola, Nike, Adidas hire celebrities as their brand ambassador to endorse their product because youth follows them. People copy their style, and they are more interested in their personal life what they do and eat. So celebrities try to connect with them people personally which helps the product sale.
