In America we are a group member of the country where we are living at this moment. Briefly describe and evaluate a communication experience (leader, message, group receptivity) from these past few weeks. (ie: the President, Task Force, media, branches of gov’t, stay at home mandate, etc.). For example, you may want to explicitly compare/contrast the experience with the group goals and social interdependence, the clarity of communication and outcomes, the importance of trust, group member experience of one or two-way communication.

Solutions

Expert Solution

First let us take a case and let that be a pandemic, a virus that is communicable. Let us then take everything that is interconnected with it atep by step to have clarity.

The government has understood after seeing some casualties and number of infected is growing thus comes up with an advisory for a lock down or stay at home.

Now, this advisory can create confusion and anxiety among the citizens if it is not clearly stated regarding how after the lock down the people will be served. If the advisory doesn't mention how things and needs of the citizens will be met. What will happen if someone comes out in emergency like a hospitalization.

Thus a clear communication is something which makes sense, a processed data which can be interpreted by the listener or reader or citizens exactly what it wanted to communicate.

Let us come to another aspect and that is task force and groups.

Task force and groups are formed to help the citizens and it can be a voluntary group attached to the government or government appointed. Both need passes or IDs to be able to perform the duty hassle free. A task force or group has members and a person leading it thus there is a supervisor to monitor the day to day activity as well as day to day performance and efficiency of the group members. On the other hand the group members want the supervisor to be unbiased and clear about what is needed to be done by the members and whether he/she is receptive to new ideas, suggestion or not. The motivation of team members depend on how the team leader behaves. If he/she is authoritative then it might create a problem for the team.

Thus a good group leader is necessary and he/she must involve and engage the group members and should be receptive to the ideas and suggestions from the group members as it involves a task to be performed effectively with high morale and highly motivated group members.

Can you imagine living in the young America we are reading about? If you could visit the U.S. in this era (say, you would have to stay for one hundred days, but then you could come back to the present) would you do so? Why/why not? Time travel may not be possible, but "human wormholes" certainly are, and they can reveal just how near to us "history" remains.

Let's suppose we are living in a country in which opportunities of making profits, and entreprenurial activity are main determinants of investment demand. In this scenario, how is parameter b? How this affect the elasticity of investment with respect to changes in interest rate? How a cut in the benchmark interest rate could affect the quantity of investment in the economy? Explain thoroughly, use models, and graphs.
