Profit per In Patient Discharge Measures the amount of profit earned on each inpatient discharge. Low values, including negative values which can be traced either to high inpatient costs or low inpatient reimbursement, or both.
Profit Per Outpatient Visit - Measures the amount of profit earned on each outpatient visit. Low values (including negative values) can be traced either to high outpatient costs or low outpatient reimbursement, or both. Profit per outpatient visit is Outpatient revenue less outpatient operating expenses divided by total visits. Measures the amount of profit earned on each outpatient visit
Net Price Per Inpatient Discharge- Measures the amount of net revenue per discharge. Net price per discharge measures the actual amount of revenue (reimbursement) per discharge.
Net Patient Revenue is calculated by subtracting expenses form inpatient and outpatient revenue services. Net patient service revenue means gross revenue from inpatient and outpatient care provided to hospital patients
