1. What can you find in a lessons learned report?
2. What can you find in a progress report?
3. How would you improve your communication skills? Feel free to express your opinion.
You can find following aspects in a lesson learned report, check out below points :
1. It will have a complete record of the desired outcomes. It will also give you an idea as how to plan better.
2. It lists down the mistakes. It also lists down how to avoid the same mistakes in future.
3. It will also have the details about the goals and objectives of a particular project.
4. It also talks about the challenges that we have faced as a team, individual or may be during workshop, training or during implementation or performing the tasks.
5. It also talks about future approach to do better, achieving more success next time and gaining knowledge.
6. It has the details of methodology or techniques that worked wonders and played a key role towards the success.
7. It also talks about overall experience out of an event/assignment/project.
We will usually find followings in a process report:
1. It talks about progress of an individual or may be a student or a working professional or may be an organisation.
2. It compares the data between two intervals. for example where were we in Dec 2018 and where are we now in April 2020.
3. How far we have reached and what are the steps we have taken to reach our short term and long term objectives.
4. It will critically examine the numbers in percentage for example unit test results of a student. Suppose if a student got 70% in unit test 1 and now he has got 77% in unit test 2 so here in this example we can observe a 7% of progress. It would reflect in the process report most probably because the numbers are analysed.
5. It would tell what is done and what is still left to be done.
6. It also reflects on areas of improvements, achievements in a period, sets target for future and acts as a key indicator and provides basis for self assessment and evaluation of overall activities over a period of time.
Refer below the ways to improve the communication skills:
1. It is important to do a self assessment. Find out our weaknesses.
2. Need to identify areas of improvements. Then work on our weaknesses. Convert weakness in to strengths.
3. Critical to see the need of language and grammar so again basics are really very important. Make it a priority.
4. Take classes, read books, magazines and can also see some tv shows as per our interest and see if that's working.
5. Also important to develop our listening skills so that certainly helps and take time to respond.
6. Be positive, body language should be very bold and positive. Take your audience in mind , take care of things like maintaining eye contact, looking confident and maintaining a good personality.
Thanks, hope it helps!
