Green plants, algae, and certain bacteria are autotrophs. Because autotrophs produce their own food, they are sometimes called producers. In this food web, only grasses produce its own food and are therefore, considered as an autotroph. The other organisms are called consumers as they obtain their nutrition from one or the other organism.
