Answer: Erp have the ability to customize with custom processes for a business that wants to continue using its own processes or even design. erp programs provide ways to support this through customization.using the erp program to make conversions. to meet specific business or corporate needs. customization helps to remove unwanted features and also helps to reduce the confusion for some departments. an employee who has not been properly utilized to evaluate other modules that do not help a particular department so by customizing all departments can only see those modules that help their department to avoid confusion. also helps to customize the user interface specifically for all departments.

There is a backlog in customizing the erp system organizations need to keep the changes to themselves. whenever an erp system update comes out, any organization that created a custom process will be required to add that change to their erp. This will require someone to keep a list of these changes and will also need to re-evaluate the system each time it is modify. businesses will have to struggle with this decision: when should they proceed and adopt the best practices built into the erp system and when should they use the resources to implement their processes It only makes sense to customize only those processes that are most important in gaining company competition.
Also converting is very expensive and dangerous modify erp is expensive and very complicated to convert
